Previously it was very easy to buy or produce hand made carpets but nowadays people have to select their favorite carpets and designs among lots of various designs and qualities. The type of raw material and favorite types of colors can be the best features to help you select your carpets. 

Long time ago in Iran, there were limited number of designs for machine made carpets and rugs, so everyone could easily choose among the possible options. The main types of colors were red and blue and cream. Then machine made carpets and rugs appeared in the market and people started having wide variety of choices to choose from. Nowadays, acrylic carpets are the best choices because of several reasons. Firstly, the colors are stable, so they wouldn’t change after some time or washing. Sun shine can’t damage this type of carpet.

To explain these items simply, we can say that when there are more knots in the carpets, it means that there are more yarns used on the surface and inside the carpet. So this leads to more delicate designs and colors on the surface of carpet and also on the back side of carpets.
